New project: Ninstar

We are proud to anounce another cooperation project: a 2D brawler called “Ninstar”, that combines classic brawl action with the precision of shooters. Players must attack their opponents with throwing stars in order to achieve victory. But the mechanic comes with a twist: The stars have to be retrieved after throwing.

The game will feature a singleplayer mode as well as several multiplayer modes that can be played locally and online. It will be released as download version on PC as well as consoles.

Ninstar is based on an idea by visionary developer Kim Seitner who will develop the game together with us. The release is scheduled for winter 2018/19.

1917 – The Alien Invasion DX is releasing on Nintendo Switch

Korion and Andrade Games join forces to bring „1917 – The Alien Invasion DX“ to Nintendo Switch this week

Ludwigsburg, 21 June, 2018 — Korion Games published the release date for the Nintendo Switch version of Andrade Games‘ genre jewel “1917 – The Alien Invasion DX”

A feast for nostalgics and a furious ride for beginners of the genre: The newest rendition of this memorization “Bullet Hell” shooter presents itself in a completely new light on the Nintendo Switch. With special adaptations for the portable system and the addition of a cooperative multiplayer, it also packs a lot more content than the initial release two years ago. “I am glad to see 1917 DX on Nintendo Switch – the ultimate Shoot ’em Up machine.“, developer Sebastian De Andrade says, hinting at the origins of the genre on Nintendo platforms.

All levels come with increasing difficulty and with a boss fight at the end – the heart of the game. Different airships, weapon types and special attacks are necessary to successfully stop the alien invasion. The more numerous the masses of annihilated alien adversaries are, the more glorious the victory is scored.

This release on Nintendo Switch is now the definitive edition of the game that both challenges hardcore players and, with the help of the coop mode, also helps beginners entering the genre. “It is a challenging game, but with enough patience and level memorization you will beat it”, Andrade emphasizes. The NIntendo Switch version will be available in Europe, Australia and North America on 22 June, 2018.

Andrade Games is an independent developer that is known for classic games in the shooter/platformer genre, that provide a well-designed game experience, unique settings and that put memorable and unusual heroes in the spotlight.

Korion Games is an independent developer and publisher for PC, consoles and mobile platforms. Their strengths lie in strategy games and platformers and in porting games to consoles. Nelly Fairy Farm published

Good things come to those who wait… The concept of an app for small children was developed in a game design seminar by Korion’s CEO Oliver Korn in 2012 at the Stuttgart Media University. The unfinished app was not forgotten – and in autumn 2014 the development continued. The original concept of the farm was complemented by the little fairy Nelly.

Nelly Fairy on the Farm is the first part of the Nelly Fairy Series. The App for iOS and Android devices is available at the AppStore and at GooglePlay since November 24th.

Nelly Fairy on the Farm trains children’s fine motor skills (using drag gestures) and cognitive abilities (which animal needs which kind of food). Even for the youngest it is a fun yet calm experience with beautiful music, children’s voices and gentle animations. Most important: the game is both appropriate for children and fun.

More Space Battle Core…



The MFG Digital Content Fund again supports the Sci-Fi strategy game Space Battle Core. After the conceptual design now the actual development and production is co-financed: MFG-press release. The development is progressing quickly. However, with Space Battle Core we need exceptionally much balancing and playtesting because:

  • the solar systems the player explores are all procedurally generated
  • both the player’s and the enemies’ space ships can have an almost infinite variety
  • multiplayer (of course) is integrated…

As a development studio we naturally are optimistic and hope to release in the first half of 2015. To do so we need support: during the extensive testing and balancing students of the University of Applied Sciences Heidelberg will assist us – and hopefully also some game enthusiastic interns. And when we finally release nothing can go wrong, since our Commander of Communications is the former chief editor of GameStar: Gunnar Lott with the agency Visibility.
